2020-2021 Season Information
Tryout Dates (All new and returning swimmers MUST attend ONE of the following tryout dates):

Ages 12& Under- Thursday, August 29, 2019 (6:00-6:30 OR 6:30-7:00 PM) Click HERE to reserve a tryout slot.

Ages 13&over- Sunday, September 15 (9:00-11:00 AM) This will be run as a pre-season practice. Click HERE to reserve a tryout slot.

Please contact a coach privately if you are unable to attend tryouts.
Swimmers should bring cap, goggles, and water bottle. Returning swimmers should bring short fins, kick board, and pull buoy.
Prerequisite: Swimmers must be able to swim 25-yards freestyle (front crawl) with rotary breathing without stopping. A coach will evaluate your swimmer at tryouts and place them in an appropriate training group for the season.

Competitions/Meets:

YMCA dual/tri meets: There are 6 dual/tri meets during the season. Meets are typically held on Saturdays. There are 3-4 home meets and/or 3-4 away meets. Exact meet dates to be announced late August after CNY YMCA District meeting. There are no entry fees for dual/tri meets.

YMCA Invitational Meets: YMCA Invitational meets are optional, but encouraged. Meets are typically held on Saturdays and Sundays (2-day meet formats). There are 1-2 YMCA Invitational Meets offered during the season. Exact meet dates to be announced as host teams post information. There are additional meet entry fees (typically around $20 per meet- enters your swimmer in about 4-5 events) plus the cost of travel and lodging.

USA Meets: Similar to YMCA Invitational meets, USA meets are optional, but encouraged. Meets are typically held on Saturdays and Sundays (2-day meet formats). There are 1-2 USA Meets offered during the season. Exact meet dates to be announced as host teams post information. There are additional meet entry fees (typically around $20 per meet- enters your swimmer in about 4-5 events) plus the cost of travel and lodging.
