Dear Oneida YMCA Dolphins Swim Team Family,

Welcome to the 2024/2025 Oneida Dolphins. This is our 16th year of the program! I have been involved with the Oneida Swim Team for the last 10 years and am extremely grateful for all that the program has given to the area community and to my family.

As we gear up for the exciting 2024-2025 swim season, I want to emphasize the importance of parent’s participation during our home meets during the season. The support of dedicated volunteers is what truly makes our program thrive, and I encourage each one of you to consider getting involved in various positions that contribute to the growth and well-being of our team.

Opportunities include concessions, bullpen, timing, and officiating. Whether you are a seasoned swim parent or a new member of our team, there are numerous ways for you to get involved and make a difference. There will be more information on the various roles during orientation meetings.

The 2024-2025 season promises to be a fun and challenging journey for all our swimmers. Our dedicated coaches and our supportive parents will continue to guide and inspire our kids to reach their full potential, both as swimmers and as individuals by fostering leadership skills and a sense of camaraderie that will last a lifetime.

Remember, it is in the journey to be our best selves that we truly learn the valuable lessons that take swimming more than just a sport—it's a rewarding and worthwhile endeavor that shapes us into better individuals.
